GLOBAL EMANCIPATION NETWORK
What We Do

Infrastructure and services for end-to-end content analysis

We develop and distribute infrastructure and services for end-to-end content analysis enabling faster and more precise investigations across the lifecycle of child exploitation and human trafficking.

We design every product experience and engagement to optimize content analyst and investigator wellness, minimize team exposure to traumatic content and maximize the defensible documentation they will need for compliance later.

The Problem

Offenders systematically exploit the gaps between us

Human trafficking and child sexual exploitation networks operate across commercial platforms, jurisdictions and legal systems that don't tend to talk to each other.

Meanwhile, regulatory foundations have shifted worldwide. In many jurisdictions, commercial platforms now face liability for detecting harmful content and for failing to detect it. Law enforcement receives hundreds of millions of reports a year but is only enabled to act on a fraction of them.

Commercial and law enforcement content analysts burn out. Evidence gets destroyed by well-intentioned takedowns. Investigators close fewer cases than they would prefer.

Our Approach

Data, tools and policy, working together

Our team of experts builds the data infrastructure, investigative tools and services and policy frameworks that allow law enforcement, government agencies, researchers and counter-trafficking organizations to identify and safeguard victims and stop offenders.

Our multi-tenant intelligence tools enable secure, individualized data sharing and the application of AI-driven analytics across thousands of trafficking cases, convictions, international legislation and open and deep web sources. We make this infrastructure available free of charge to law enforcement and under-resourced agencies worldwide, so they can concentrate on their missions rather than their technology gaps. This infrastructure is also available to commercial enterprises as SaaS subscription or on-premises products.

Technology alone is not enough. We advise US Congress, the European Union, INTERPOL, state attorneys general and other decision-makers on the regulatory frameworks that promote effective, legally defensible exploitation intelligence response. The best tools in the world are only as powerful as the policy environment that enables their use.
